About S1 Sequential
S1 Sequential Pty Ltd (ABN 66 607 055 809) is an Australian designer and manufacturer of bolt-on sequential shift conversion kits for popular synchromesh manual gearboxes, together with high-mount H-pattern shifters and shifter accessories. Our products are shipped to customers worldwide by DHL Express.
What we make
Our sequential conversion units mount to the existing gearbox and convert the factory H-pattern into a push-pull sequential action: pull back to shift up, push forward to shift down. The clutch and synchros are used as normal, neutral is available between gears, and reverse is protected by a mechanical lockout lever. No gearbox swap and no electronics are required.
Sequential shifter kits are available for the Tremec TKX, Tremec T56 (GM, Ford and Dodge Viper variants), Tremec Tr-6060, Tremec Magnum, Magnum F and Magnum XL, Nissan CD009, Toyota R154, Ford Toploader, GM Muncie and G-Force T-101 gearboxes. We also produce the H-Track H-pattern shifter for the Tremec T56 and Tr-6060, an H-pattern shifter for the Toyota 86, GR86 and Subaru BRZ, and a range of accessories including the digital gear indicator, gear position sensor, lever options and replacement parts.
Engineering
Our sequential shifter design is the subject of US patent US20170030459A1 and international patent application PCT/AU2015/050160. Every kit is engineered and tested for race-duty loads while retaining the gearbox’s standard synchromesh. Dimensioned drawings and written installation instructions are published for every product so that fitment can be confirmed before purchase.
Who uses our products
S1 Sequential shifters are fitted by racers, builders and workshops around the world, in everything from drag and circuit cars to street-driven classics. Our Tremec Magnum conversion also appears on screen, fitted to the Dodge Charger R/T driven in Fast X.
Support
Every kit is supplied with installation instructions and is backed by a 1-year warranty and technical support for the original purchaser. Instructions and drawings are available on our Instructions and Technical Support page, and our team can be reached through the contact form.
