Tremec Shifter Selector

Tremec six-speed gearboxes were fitted to many vehicles and are sold in several aftermarket versions, and each family needs a different S1 Sequential kit. Use the table below to find the kit for your gearbox. If you are unsure, send a photograph of the gearbox and shifter area through the contact form before ordering and we will confirm fitment.

How to identify your gearbox

  • Shifter location. GM-pattern T56 and Magnum gearboxes have the shifter mounted directly on the tail housing. Ford and Viper T56 / Tr-6060 gearboxes use a different tail housing and shifter position. Late-model Tr-6060 gearboxes from the VE–VF Commodore, Camaro and GT500 use a remote linkage with the lever mounted forward of the gearbox.
  • Tag or casting. Tremec and Borg-Warner gearboxes carry a tag or casting number on the case. Photographs of the tag and the shifter area are the quickest way for us to confirm the kit you need.
  • Mounting dimensions. Dimensioned drawings for each kit are on the Shifter and Gearbox Dimensions page.
