This is my new Favorite design, this wasn’t really designed with a business plan behind it but rather to make the perfect h-pattern shifter. We first studied the problems with existing high mount shifters for the BRZ / 86 platform and solved them all.
- All other floor mounted shifters multiplied engine movement by the leverage ratio resulting in a shift knob moving back and forth under braking/ acceleration – With some careful design we almost eliminated this using a virtual pivot system (around 1/20th the movement).
- In other designs a longer lever means a wider and softer gate, we use an angular change mechanism to keep the gate tight with great driver feedback.
- Other designs are just recycled generic designs, this shifter has been designs ground up for the BRZ/86, no trims need to be cut for fitment, and it bolts straight up to the factory mounting holes.
Constructed mostly of anodied 6061 t6 aluminum with a few stainless steel parts where required, we use the perfect mix of peek bushes, sealed bearings, sperical bearings and some custom urethane bushes on pivots.

- The vintage style “lines” shift knob is supplied but you can fit any shift knob that has a 12×1.75mm thread
