These are a modern contactless hall effect sensor. This is a 5V sensor and outputs an analog signal that changes with each gear selected. These are perfect for our sequential shifters but can be used in many other angle sensing applications. The wiring is shielded and has etfe insulation and sheathing which is very hard to burn/ melt compared to pvc wiring.
This can simply be used with our gear indicator https://s1sequential.com/product/gear-indicator/ or ,connect to the ecu for data logging/boost by gear or to a digital display, some will have an analog input for this but most will only accept canbus inputs. If this is the case you will have to wire this sensor to the ecu of an analog to can convertor then map the signal to numbers then send to the display from there,
** There is a magnet inside the shifter that makes this work ( we get calls asking how it could possibly work with no moving parts) **
This will not work on a standard gearbox, only with our sequential shifter.
~ White/Blue or White/Green = GND
~ White/ Orange = 5V Supply
~ White/White = Signal out
