  • H-Track Custom Linkage Shifter (T56 & TR-6060)

    For years, builders have hunted down early-model T56 transmissions for custom engine swaps simply because mounting a shifter to a late-model (post-2005) remote-linkage TR-6060 or T56 was too difficult, or required expensive rear-housing conversions.

    The H-Track is our definitive solution. It allows you to easily utilize modern, robust remote-linkage transmissions in your custom build while giving you complete freedom over your shifter placement.

    Total Mounting Freedom & DIY Fitment

    Place your shift lever exactly where you want it. This system allows you to position the shifter anywhere between 100mm and 450mm behind the gearbox shift coupling. Installation is incredibly straightforward: simply cut the supplied rods to your exact required length, drill, and fit the couplings using basic hand tools.

    The Engineering: Solving Remote-Mount Flaws

    • The “Floating Pivot” Magic: With a standard aftermarket floor-mounted shifter, the lever multiplies engine movement—5mm of drivetrain flex turns into 25mm of violent slop at the shift knob. Our floating pivot design completely isolates this, reducing 5mm of engine flex to just 0.2mm. The gear knob, and your next gear, are always exactly where you left them.

    • Angle Change Linkage: Normally, installing a tall shift lever creates a wide, sloppy shift gate. We utilize a custom mechanical linkage to keep the gate incredibly tight. You won’t be “searching” for the gear; you will feel the crisp, mechanical force of every gate position.

    • High-Mount Ergonomics: Elevates the shift knob closer to the steering wheel, drastically reducing the time your hand is off the wheel and resulting in much faster, more controlled shifts.

    Premium Construction & Features

    • Under-Floor Silicone Boot: We know you don’t want to hide this beautiful mechanism under a leather boot. We designed a custom-moulded silicone seal that mounts under the floor to keep road noise, dirt, and exhaust fumes out of the cabin, allowing you to leave the billet shifter fully exposed.

    • Complete Kit: Includes the main shifter assembly, linkages, couplings, and rubber surrounds.

    Universal Adaptability & Important Notes

    • Custom Applications: Don’t be limited to the Tremec family. The H-Track can easily be adapted to many other remote-linkage style transmissions. All you need to fabricate is a connection from the shift rod to the gearbox, and a secure mounting point for the brace bar.

    • ⚠️ Reverse Lockout Note: Because the T-56 and TR-6060 utilize factory electronic reverse lockouts, the H-Track shifter does not feature a built-in mechanical reverse lockout function.
