This shifter does not fit all Ford Toploaders. It is engineered specifically to mount to the C7OR-7A040-A tail housing. Please verify your tail housing casting number and compare it to the product photos before ordering.

This shifter utilizes a dedicated 1-2-3-4 pattern with a true neutral available between every gear, offering distinct advantages for drag racing and heavy track use:

Easy Roll-Outs: You can easily bump the shifter out of 4th gear directly into neutral to coast smoothly after a high-speed run.

Downshift Protection: The mechanism makes it physically impossible to accidentally drop into neutral when aggressively downshifting into 1st gear.

Independent Reverse Lever: To keep the primary sequential mechanism as robust, simple, and reliable as possible, reverse is selected using a dedicated secondary lever.
