This shifter utilizes a dedicated 1-2-3-4 pattern with a true neutral available between every gear, offering distinct advantages for drag racing and heavy track use:

Easy Roll-Outs: You can easily bump the shifter out of 4th gear directly into neutral to coast smoothly after a high-speed run.

Downshift Protection: The mechanism makes it physically impossible to accidentally drop into neutral when aggressively downshifting into 1st gear.

Independent Reverse Lever: To keep the primary sequential mechanism as robust, simple, and reliable as possible, reverse is selected using a dedicated secondary lever.

The 410mm Rule: This shifter is designed to fit all Muncie boxes that measure exactly 410mm from the front of the main transmission housing to the front upper-most shifter mounting hole.

Housing ID: The mechanism was specifically designed around the 3831731 rear housing casting, though any housing matching the 410mm measurement will be fully compatible.
